Come and join us for what we hope will be a wonderful summers day, frequent the beer tent, tout round the Trade Stands, soak up the sport and rifle through the refreshments.

Entrance Fee

Entry just £5 per person, payable on the gate. Children under 16 and car parking are both free!

Opening Times

Gates open at 8:00am, and close at around 6:00pm. The Cross Country starts at around 10:00am, and runs right through the day.

Disabled Facilities

Disabled badge holders will be given priority parking, and there are disabled toilet facilities located close to the Main Arena. Stewards will be more than willing to give assistance where required.

Food and Drink

A variety of food and drink outlets will be at the event offering food to go, and these are all situated alongside the Main Arena.

Also looking onto the Main Arena is the The Sheffield Tap bar is perfectly located to watch the showjumping whilst taking some liquid refreshment. Hot and cold soft drinks are also available.

Shopping

Car Parking

Visitors will be guided to the parking areas, which are located close the Main Arena and Cross Country Course. Please follow the instructions of parking stewards, who will try to ease traffic flow around the site and give way to any oncoming horses.

Dogs

Dogs have always been welcome at the Horse Trials. We ask that you please keep you dogs on a lead at all times, and clean up any mess. The Committee reserve the right to fine dog owners who do not have their pets on a lead.

Camping and Caravanning

Space is made available for Camping and Caravanning on site for those who'd like to make a weekend of it, but places must be booked in advance. If you want to book a pitch then please email office@skiptonhorsetrials.co.uk

Getting Here

The event is situated just of the A59 outside Skipton, just off the exit for the village of Carleton. The event will be well signposted from all major roundabouts on the edge of Skipton. To see a map please click here.
