Reaching your Silver Anniversary is no mean feat. Over the years Skipton Horse Trials has been lucky to have been supported by a great team of volunteers, sponsors, competitors & BE officials. Although there have been some changes to the team the motivation remains the same; to ensure Skipton Horse Trials remains one of the best grassroots venue in the country.
One of the ways we hope to mark the occasion is to have a anniversary themed cross country fence.
For all you fantastic bakers out there we are again running a competition at this year's horse trials to find the best bakers in the eventing world, and we know there are a lot of you!
To be crowned king or queen of the bake off and win the coveted Cantering Caterer's trophy and lunch for two in the hospitality tent on a day of your choice, just fill in the form below and return it by email by Monday 19 June to email@example.com or alternatively post to E Bower, Carr Beck, Gisburn Road, BARNOLDSWICK, BB18 5XD
Then just bring along your entry to the hospitality tent between 4.30pm and 8.30pm on Friday 23 June or before 10am on Saturday 24 June.
All entries will be used after the competition to fee our army of wonderful volunteers.
Cakes will be judged by Norrie Crook, previous winner of bake off and her decision is final.
Entry is free!

Providing a premier setting for the ultimate equestrian challenge
For the 2016 season Skipton Horse Trials will continue to invest in the structure of the event with changes to the course layout and the addition of new fences. At Heslaker and Funkirk Farm we enjoy stunning landscape with natural features such as hedges and dry stone walls. the course itself gently undulates over well-maintained pasture land with amazing views over the Yorkshire Dales.
